Located on Manhattan’s East Side, the New York Estonian House is a historic Beaux-Arts venue with a warm and distinctive atmosphere. Originally designed by Thomas A. Gray in 1898, the building features preserved architectural details and timeless interiors that make every event feel unique.
The New York Estonian House is the ideal venue for a wide range of events and celebrations, including business meetings, holiday parties, concerts, recitals, receptions, conferences, film and photo shoots, birthday parties, and private gatherings. Combining historic character with flexible event spaces, the venue offers an inviting setting for both intimate occasions and larger events.

Accommodating up to 350 guests, this rental option includes access to multiple event spaces across all three levels of the venue, creating a dynamic multi-format experience with dedicated areas for programming, dining, networking, and social gatherings.

The Great Hall
Our largest rental space (52′ x 19′) is ideal for concerts, receptions, corporate events, and private gatherings. The room accommodates up to 120 guests for concert seating and offers flexible layouts, including auditorium-style seating for up to 100 guests, standing receptions with cocktail tables for up to 100 guests, banquet-style seating for up to 90 guests, and U-shape arrangements for up to 40 guests. Banquet setups support a maximum of 9 round tables with up to 10 seats per table. The space also features an Estonia piano, projector screen, and full sound and media system. The Blue Room
Elegant circular space (22′ x 19′) featuring classical architectural details and a warm historic atmosphere. The room includes a grand piano, floor-to-ceiling wall mirror, circular dome ceiling, crown molding, bowed central window, and a wrought iron French balcony overlooking East 34th Street.

Rental Policies & Guidelines
To preserve our historic landmark, we ask all guests to adhere to the following policies.
Catering & Alcohol
In-house catering is available. External caterers must be pre-approved. All alcohol must be served by our licensed bar staff.
Decorations
To protect our original wood paneling and wall finishes, no tape, nails, or staples are permitted on walls. Free-standing decor is encouraged.
Accessibility
Our main floors are historic. The building is not wheelchair accessible and does not have an elevator.
